E105 | Snatch Cycling Tips
On Episode 105 of the Doc and Jock Podcast our very own Coach and former CrossFit Games Athlete, Joe Szymanek, sits down to share some techniques on cycling the Snatch in CrossFit workouts.
Hey Gang! We are back with another Friday Short. This week Coach Joe is dropping some knowledge bombs on snatch cycling technique for all our CrossFitters out there. If you aren’t familiar with Snatch cycling it’s simply just doing a bunch of snatches very fast consecutively. Many Olympic Lifters find this offensive, but it is a part of the sport of fitness so we want to address it and give some ways to be safe and more effective. In E105 Coach Joe will share some tips on:
#1. Hip placement on the set-up and leg drive
#2. Proper foot placement
#3. Utilizing the 3rd pull properly in a workout that most would power everything
